Trent McKinster

Trent has always had a passion for technology and helping others. He fell in love with computers and programming nearly 40 years ago when his school received their first Apple II computer and he was asked to help the principle and school understand how to leverage the new technology. 

​

He has had many roles over his 35+ year career journey. In each role, he was able to leverage the latest technology to differentiate himself and drive incremental value within the organizations. Starting with utilizing AppleWorks spreadsheets to optimize milk orders in a grocery store; to shifting to Microsoft office tools and creating custom sign making and holiday order forecasting software employed across 100's of stores; to leading enterprise wide technology strategy, development and implementation with solutions that can support business functions across an entire organization.

 

During these same years, Trent worked on the business side of organizations managing retail stores with over $20 million in annual sales, leading retail categories with over $2 billion in annual sales, as well as leading teams of people exceeding 100 people.

Trent has found that this balance of business leadership and technology skills is very unique across industries and can lead to powerful career opportunities if leveraged the right way. He is passionate about sharing his insights and knowledge with others to help them achieve maximum success within their career journeys.

Trent loves spending time with his wife Felicia and their three children. He currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
